Snails?

I have lots of snails but my question is for trochus snail. Couple of them just died while the rest are fine. Is this common for snails? thanks

It depends on how long have you had them. If they died shortly after being introduced into the tank, they might have been improperly acclimated somewhere along the trade chain (or you). If they've resided in your tank for a while (several months), they may have starved or were eaten by something.

What you can do is observe your tank and see if more die, make sure the tank is teeming with algae (diatoms and such) and you don't have any snail eaters (crabs or certain worms).

They been in a tank or a while. After water change few died, I ended up with seven dead but the rest are fine and there's enough algae in the tank, weird.
