Ok. I'm a gear nut looking for ideas for at doing a DIY dosing system. I want to locate a setup in my fish room that has easy maintenance and ease of use. How do you mount your dosers and what do your dosing containers look like? :fun2:

I don't have a picture, but I have BRS 'Mr Chili Jugs' and marine magic 1+1 dosing pumps. I mounted a floating shelf on the wall in my reef room and have the containers and pumps sitting on there.

Are you going to build your pumps?

No. I'm thinking of using BRS controlled with Apex. I'd like to design a neat acrylic mounting plate for 4 dosers. Wishing Apex had a unit so I didn't have to mess with all this. If I don't go with this method I may just buy the stand alone GHL ProfiLux doser. I own a BM and use it on my 50 gallon system. This system is 400 gallons.

Here is a pic of my reactors and above it is a partitioned dosing container.

Nice.

I'm not really sure. I'm obsessed with trying to keep things looking clean and organized, but I didn't have much options so far. I am planning to modify mine when I move my sump into my reef room.

I'll post some pics when I get home so you can see how I have mine setup. Not ideal yet, as I plan to hang them from the wall as well. With your setup, I'd probably just set the pumps on top of the containers, but it depends on what pumps you get as well.

I use ridge clear tubing and drill a hole in the lid of the original ESV Two Part. Cut the end of the clear ridge tubing on and angle so it doesn't sit flush on the container. I also drill a very small hole on top of the container to allow the pressure to equalize.

Here is my doser mounted over the sump:

Like I said, still working on it and the electrical but I'd like to mount these on the wall. The sump will eventually be right below this shelf, or probably a new one.
