Anthia went carpet surfing

I had 3 lyretail anthias and while I was away this weekend the male decided to go carpet surfing. I have no idea how he even found a hole, since my tank is covered, and the only small openings have wires and probes going through them, but he did. Disappointed not only because I liked the fish, but he was finally becoming very male. He had the long dorsal fin and he was starting to get a much redder shade after like 1 year.

My next question. Is there any trick to introducing a new third fish so, I get back up to three of them?
