would like to know how it works and if clumping of the biopellets still accur.
I'm running the Two little fishies 550 reactor and NPX pellets. Every week or two i have the problem of opening the reator and having to use a stick to breakup the pellets. Really getting fed-up of that. Sometimes i work offshore or go out of the country and my wife maintains the tank for me. She will eventually get fedup of that maintainance. Thanks

a recirculating style of BP reactor will be your best bet, My 1st attempt at bio pellets was with the same reactor you have and I was not happy with the way the pellets would tumble, I than tried the Reef Octopus and the Pellets tumbled ok but in order to decrease the effluent I would have to reduce the flow to the reactor and that effected the tumbling. I now have a Reef Dynamics reactor and I am very happy with, it has separate controls for the effluent and tumbling.

The owner has some good videos on the subject of bio pellet reactors
