Hob filter(s) noob question

Hello , I have a 10 g fowlr tank . Started about a week ago . I started with a Hob filter with the carbon bag . And today I added another filter with lr rubble is that helping the tank or doing bad to it ? Any input greatly appreciated .

if its cycling then it wont hurt anything.

Live rock is gooooood! But it's better in your main tank than in your filter I believe, I think live rock rubble in a HOB tends to become a nutrients sink and cause trouble with nitrates and stuff, whereas if its in your tank with good water flow it can actually become biological filtration due to the bacteria living on it....... Not sure if that helps but I guess just keep checking your water parameters and make sure everything's on track? It usually takes about a month or more to fully cycle, so just keep on keeping on :thumbsup:
