After building a few Cree arrays for my corner tank, I decided to play with a multichip. Initially I veered away from them because of their supposed drastic innefiency compared to cree but the results of them are fantastic. The colors and spread is to me better and both side by side I can't see the difference in light output.
For cost reasons I have to use the array but am going to put a single in the center and have 2 multichips on both sides. The other array will be in the closet. :(
