Vented tank divider

I was thinking of crafting a slotted tank divider to keep my carpet anemone away from the tang but yet still allow the clowns to get to both sides of aquarium If I make the divider alittle shorter than top of the tank do u think the clowns can swim over but not the anemone?

If the anemone wants to get over it, it will. I had a RBTA climb the overflow and get caught in the drain line. It's not very likely... but it can happen.
