Radion V1 to pro initial settings?

OK, I'm running a V1 at 100% intensity. Everything in the tank is fine at that level and no algae. I want to keep it that way. When my pro gets here tomorrow, approx what intensity should I set that at to mimic the V1? Thanks.

Going from the gen1 to the pro I would take it slow especially since the gen 1 is blue and whites and the pro is full spectrum with more LEDs then the gen 1. If your gen 1 is at 100% I would start the pro out at 60% or less and just watch the corals. It's much easier to ramp the light up rather than have to try and nurse corals back to life that were fried by your new investment

Thanks. I wasn't sure how to calculate the intensity difference since it's more than just more LEDs and PAR.

I've put the overall intensity at 65% and lowered the royal blue channel to also 65% to start with since it's stronger now. I'm raising up the royal blue and the violet channel slowly to 100% and then I'll ramp up the overall intensity.

I would just set it to how you want it and engage the acclimate feature then let the lights d their thing over the next few weeks

I raised mine from 6" (G1 TIR) to 9" (PRO) and left them at 100%. I have mostly LPS and everything is flourishing (more so) in the two weeks.

OK, a spin off my orig question, since it is nearly impossible to get a Pro Upgrade of a V1 from Ecotech, while I'm waiting, what LEDs should I shut off and reduction in intensity would be needed to have the pro look the same as the V1 when they are side by side over my tank? Or will it matter. I don't want the tank to look like I got a 2yo MH on one side and a new one on the other.

The gen 1 only have the whites and blues so if you turned off the full spectrum on the pro you would have essentially the same light although I'm not sure if they will look the same side by side
