90 gal questions

How do you guys get the water moving at the bottom of a taller tank like a standard 90 gallon? I am just getting past a phosphate problem yet I still seem to have a bit of cyano on my sandbed. I have 500gph pump a MJ 1200 and a 500 gph powerhead but they all move water at the top. Flow seems dead at the bottom. Probably why the cyano is still showing up there. I want to start moving the water around down there without disturbing the sand and corals. Any thoughts?

Angle the powerheads and either get more of them or buy an MP40

In my 90 - there are 2 Hydor Evo 750's alternating side to side (2 on at any time). Two are near the top and two are about 1/3+ up from the bottom. Each tank is different, though.
