Rimless Tank HELP!

Setting up a rimless 30x30x20 tank made out of 1/2" glass with a corner overflow. Problem is when the previous owner built the stand he left the corner where the overflow is unsupported by the stand to make clearance for the bulkheads. The area itself is roughly 6"x6"

So my question is, will I be ok running it or should I somehow rebuild the stand.

It would probably be ok. Can you post a picture?

Are you saying that the stand doesn't extend into that corner? If that's the case the 1/2" glass is strong enough without that support.

i am going to guess (without pic) that it probably will be ok.

Did the previous owner have the tank set up? If so it worked.
