For those of you who have a fuge in one tank and sump in another, how do you plumb the circuit? Must be flood-proof for me to do it ;)

gravity flow from the refug to the sump. Only way, all others have significant risk, this way there is only slight risk. Most I have seen split the overflow from the display into 1/2 going fug the remainder going to protein skimmer in the sump. Ref can flow into sump area or into sump return section.

I have a 150DT, 120 refugium, and a 50g sump. All separate tanks. As mentioned above - gravity is the safest way to do the job. I feed my fuge using a T off the return for the DT and allow it to flow back into the sump using a durso standpipe in a standard corner box. Gravity has never failed me yet!
