Help with RODI!!!

Hey guys,

I've never had a RODI before but I'm picking up a 120g tonight, so I bought a used Spectrapure unit yesterday to prep for today. After running it for a bit, it came out to 009 TDS. I then switched the DI and it ran at 000 for 2-3 hours. I went to check on it during the night, and it was at 130+, and then this morning I checked on it again and it was at 004.

Is this normal, and will this water be ok to use for my new setup?

Also, on a side note, will the BRS sediment and carbon replacements fit this unit? (10 inch cartridges).

It seems odd that it would spike like that and then go back down. Are you sure the TDS meter is working properly?

How can I be sure that it's not broken?

Have you tested it in a known 0 tds source?

I just bought the new Spectrapure CSPDI 90. Getting 0 out of the DI.

Tested my LFS RODI water and it reads 007

if its a brand new unit, did you flush the membrane before you ran it through the resin? I had to flush my membrane for almost 2 hours, but now I have 000 TDS in my water
