What is the best way to get rid of hair algae ?

Reduce phosphate and nitrates by reducing number of fish, reducing amount/frequency of feeding (poor fish), reduce lighting, use skimmer/refugium/algae scrubber.

Yeah its all about getting your parameters in check. You can pull some of it out to help speed up the process, but you must first figure out what is causing the algae to grow. Overfeeding, not using RODI water, frequency of water changes, etc.

Yank out as much as you can by hand. Then I would throw a sea hare or two in there and let them go to town. But like the others said, you need to find the source for what's feeding it
