What will get the job done for a reef tank? My sump isn't that big. It has three
12x12 compartments. Skimz and Octopus are two I have been looking at but I need more recommendations.

Have you looked into the SRO skimmers? and have you looked into the JNS skimmers also?

The SRO is pricey at 600. What model...there are so many.

Sro 2000 is what I plan on using for my build. Can be found for under 400

Super reef octopus without a doubt, hard to beat them for the price and quality, there are better skimmers out there but they will cost you twice what the SRO will
