Hey All
Recently added BRS HC GFO to my Nextreef MR1 and am not getting an even tumble at all. Anyone experience the same issues?

I have a valve on the input line and have played with it a lot with no success.

What pump?

The pump that comes with the package. The one that comes with the NextReef Complete Kit

There isn't any nextreef complete kit. That was probably a package deal from the place you bought it from.
So what pump is it and what brand pellets?

There sure is. Here you go right from there site. I am trying to get BRS GFO to tumble correct.

MR1 Complete - The MR1 Reactor is now also available complete and ready-to-run with an adjustable flow pump and 4 feet of matching blue tubing. Everything you'll need is in the box - just add your favorite media!

Looks like a EcoPlus 132 pump. (132gph)
I will ask, but I assume the pump is adjusted to the max.

Did you soak your pellets for 24 hours?

Its set to max then I tone it down with the vavle but only a very small portion tumbles. Kind of just a corner. I have been thinking of ordering the Biopellet kit and change the reactor around.

The way it works flow only comes out of two holes on the bottom. Those are semi the areas that I am getting a tumble. The BRS GFO HC maybe to heavy of a media but I am not sure.

I have the same issue. I thought it was the pellets I was using so I got a couple different kinds. Soaked vs non-soaked and still didn't get any tumble. I finally ended up with the newer larger pellets that premium aquatics sells. I'm blanking on the brand at the moment.
