Starting a 100 gal 48x18x31 tall tank. Any advice for tall stack dry rock. After searching, there isn't abest technique winner. Dry stack, stack w epoxy, stack w PVC pipe inserts, acrylic rod inserts? HELP, I'm in analysis paralysis!

Depending on height desired and rock you have available I would lean towards drill some rock and use PVC or acrylic rods to balance them out. Coupled with a small amount of epoxy you can create some masterpieces

IMO the stack should be secured in some way. As for what method you use, just do whatever is convienent for you. Many have had success with all the methods you mentioned. Whatever works for you is fine.

I agree on a secured approach. 18 inches doesn't allow for much swimming room unless you go almost vertical in the back.

I agree, use rods or pipes - and don't forget a base plate or something to ensure the pillars/stacks can't fall over.
