My Biocub 29's pump is SO loud that you can hear it two rooms over, yes I have cleaned it out its just so old its starting to crap out. I need a QUITE replacement pump ASAP that's not going to cost me an arm and a leg.

What all do you recommend for the tank before I lose my mind from the sound.

Not sure if it makes a difference but it is a fresh water tank, I had salt for a long time, but I up graded to a bigger tank and just decided to plant this spare one.
I tired to get answers on a planted tank form but no responses, since not many people use these for fresh.

Maxi jet 1200 was a bust. Not only did it not fit, needs a new hose to fit witch I cant seem to find, Its just as loud as the old one. At this point I am ready to flood the back compartment and stick on an HOB filter just so I can get some sleep!
