So I just bought a hybrid frogspawn, put it in my tank and my cbs came rushing over to pick at it. I thought it was just cleaning something off the coral but it wasn't. It was pulling the end parts of the tentacles and eating them. He already "popped" three tentacles.
I got ****ed so I caught him and put him in a breeder net with the plan of donating him to my lfs. Should I donate him or let him pick at the coral with the hope of him getting over the new addition?

i've seen this happen on RBTAs also. no suggestion besides donating it. have you tried feeding it?

I don't necessarily spot feed him but I see him catch allot of mysis during feeding time. I'm not sure if it's a sign off eating, but he molts every few weeks.
The frogspawn is the only coral he ever touched, he won't go near anything else. I've had him for about 5 years so it's kind of a shame to give him away. My wife really likes the cbs and doesn't want to get rid of him so maybe I'll just tell her I'll keep him but if he ruins the frogspawn she can buy me a new one. :)
