I am in the process of getting together a 180 and am looking for some active fish with different colors. It is going to be a mixed reef, and I have seen some beautiful wrasses, I am looking for some fish to mix in. As of now, the only fish I want for sure are a Powder Blue Tang, Australian Harlequin Tusk, a mandarin pair down the road, and the rest is pretty open, but I would like a group of anthers too. Throw out some ideas please!

You need to do some research on the individual fish. Right off the bat, you're likely going to have a problem with a Harlequin Tusk and a mixed reef.
Research the fish you want as follows:
1. Are they reef friendly?
2. Are they aggressive?
3. Are they territorial? If yes, is there an order you should be adding the fish?
Those questions will get you pointed in the right direction.
Good luck.

If I had a 180 gallon tank, I would most definetly have a Purple Tang. They are soo beautiful looking, and Im a Ravens fan so I think that has something to do with it.

Well a powder blue is going to rule the roost as far as tangs go, so I would add that fish last.
I like the idea of having a harem of some kind of wrasse, they are always fun to watch.
A shoal of small cardinals is a nice way to add movement and scale to a tank as well.

My main motivation is coral safe, the Tusk is coral safe, but not invert safe, I would sacrifice not having some inverts for having this fish, I really appreciate advice, but that just came off as being condescending. If I was not going to do any research, I would just add whatever I want and then post a thread complaining about what was going wrong.
