Need some help please

I have been noticing my frogspawn, hammer, and torch not looking to good the past few weeks. Even lost a few heads on some. Well today when the lights came on I saw theses. They look to be a flat warm? Any ideas how to get rid of them before they kill off anymore? Thanks

yes, those look like flatworms, but they should not be harmful to coral. However, they can rapidly reproduce and look gross...
Filefish(i think) eat these.
I've had the most sucess by sucking them off with a turkey baster or twezers. be careful not to hurt the coral though.
Do you have enough light forthese corals? could they be fighting with eachother? is there a fish that may be picking at them? how are your water params?

yes, i double checked. certain filefish and wrasses eat flatworms, but I have never tried it because i check my corals REALLY thoroughly before adding them;)

I have 3 250 wt MH so I know I have enough light. I did just change the bulbs about a week ago and I think that might have been a bit of a problem. Thanks for the heads up glad they are not hurting my corals. It looks so bad in that pic because they light did just kick on. There are no other corals around it and all my SPS are looking really good and growing.

They have chemicals you can use to kill the worms & its reef safe. Did you dip the corals prior to putting them in your tank?

Yup I dip all my corals and QT all my fish. Not sure how I got them I have not added anything in over 4 moths. I got some stuff to treat the tank and wipe them out before they get out of control. Thanks for the help.

Be ready with carbon, and suck out the dead one's before they release Toxins, will turn water yellow. One of the guys in the local club lost fish and coral.

I have used Flatworm exit and it works excellently but you need to be ready with fresh carbon and a rather large water change. When flatworms get stressed they produce a toxin that can be harmful to your tank. After the treatment I would get a wrasse to prevent further outbreak of these pests.
