what about the Photon 32s?

I'm getting the nova this saturday used for $50

My tank is a 150XH 48x24x30H

That's plenty of light for your 150g. $50, dollars you can't go wrong!

Bulbs needs to be replaced though. She said they still work

not bad fixture but i would change bulbs if they are anything more than 6 months old.

They may work and look bright, but they're putting out a lot less light then when they were new. Bulbs should be replaced every 6 months or so.

bulbs tend to loose their kelvin. if u started with a 10k bulb over the next 6 months it might be under 6500k which anything under 7000k is nothing but algae grower. T5 should be replaced every 6-8 months.
