So I was cleaning the tank tonight and I see this small (size of a marble) jelly-like ball. I have no idea as to what it may be. Only fish in the tank are 2 clowns and 2 fire gobies and a watchman goby. I have some snails, hermit crabs and a peppermint shrimp and and reef lobster too. I added a flame scallop yesterday, Oh and of course the RBTA too. Any help with ID'ing this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan

Cat's eye marble? JK
Sure looks like a developing egg of some sort.

Take it out of the tank and place in some tank water in a clear of white container and get some better pics.

If it opens slowly, move away from it or a face hugger might jump out!

There is red bubble algae also. Red bubble algae would be my first guess.
