Might be a question for the large tank guys, but here goes...

We need to move our old 150g tank to the fish store, and the replacement tank back home. The LFS used to do delivery, but can't deliver any more, so we're trying to figure out how to safely move the tanks.

Can anyone tell me if it's safe to move the tank on its end, on a furniture cart? If so, we may be able to hire one of our local 'two guys and a truck' type movers to help.

I've emailed some large moving companies, not sure if they'll want the job or if we'll be able to afford them if they do...

I don't have enough manpower to lift/carry the tank without hiring someone, and don't really know what the safest way to move the tank around is -- what I do know is we want to avoid twisting movements at all costs, and of course any pressure on the glass panes, and no lifting from the top of the frame. Can anyone spell out EXACTLY how to do this? I'd be endlessly thankful, this is incredibly stressful and confusing.
