So I have found a not so Local fish store (about 3.5 hours away) that builds custom tanks and has the best selection of corals and fish I have seen on the island so far! So in a few months when I have saved enough Penny's (Just finished my 2nd level apprentice ship in baking, which wrecked my poor piggy bank) I plan to buy a full set up that is all custom made in the shop.

here is the front rough draw up

Stand open

The tank is going to be: 30Lx24Wx20H About 60gallons
Sump : 28Lx16x16h 30 ish gallons

Custom Acrylic mount for my Radion.
The stand is a Powder coated steel frame, the panels are magnetically mounted for easy access.

Soon I'm gonna pick up some dry rock and get an early start on the aqua scape! The only thing ill need now is a skimmer. I was thinking of the Reef Octopus NWB 110. The other thought was a external skimmer? so I could have more Refuguim space, what is everyone's thoughts on that?

Anyhow, Just needed to vent some excitement! time to put in some long hours at work to make this happen faster!

It looks great, congrats on your hard work paying off. From the diagrams, the stand looks completely enclosed. I prefer the back to be mostly open to permit air exchange, remove moisture, reduce heat, etc.

Is the box in the left rear an overflow box. If so, I would try and get the over flow built into the tank. IME overflow boxes can be a pain and noisy.

Hmm is external really that bad? I wanted the extra room in the tank : (
