So I am trying to get everything in my new tank Id'ed
I picked up this established 90 gal. He said he had it up for 8 months.

Found this thing..

It's not aiptasia, that is a little lower in the picture :/
just put in a few peppermint shrimp to hopefully help with that, been reading the threads for it.

looks like some brown star polyps with a bit of hair algae mixed in with it.

There appear to several small aptasia as well....

About ur aptasia. Get some berghia nudibranches. I went with four peppermint shrimp with no results. I ordered 3 bergs and on day 3 I could already see the population goin down in my tank.

Ordered a few berghia nudi's.. And used some joes juice to get rid of a lot of the larger visible ones. so hope I can throw a berghia in the sump and a couple in the dt.

They're doing some serious damage on the aps in my tank. The more visible ones are taking alittle longer because they're nocturnal but none the less they were defiantly worth the money.
