I am setting up a 240 FOWLR tank and wanted to incorporate the angelfish from Finding Nemo. What is his scientific name? Thanks! Also, any suggestions on a stock list for the tank would be great!

I don't think there is an angelfish in Finding Nemo.

Describe the fish your thinking of of, or what is the name of the fish?

That fish was a Moorish Idol, Zanclus cornutus (not an angelfish, but a tang). They are not for beginners and are best left in the ocean.

Black & White Heniochos or Moorish idol both look like what i think ur refering to.

Are you referring to the Moorish Idol?

As also mentioned moorish idols are definitely beyond the skill level of most hobbyists. Heniochos angelfish look very very similar though and are a bit easier to keep I believe

Idols are not tangs but their own species of fish.

I stand corrected, thanks. I always see them grouped with tangs in reference materials.

DOn't even attempt a moorish idol---only guy I heard of who succeeded with one was harvesting growth off harbor piers to feed it.

On the other hand, the heniochus or bannerfish looks similar, and is much easier, if you can feed it.

Heniochus, also called "False moorish idol", are butterflyfish. They are beautiful, and easy to keep. If you have corals, you need to make sure that you are purchasing a Heniochus diphreutes, reef safe, not a Heniochus acuminatus, reef destroyer. They are hard to tell apart.
