What are some of you using to hide the 'light spillage' for the gap between the tank and the hanging light fixture?

I don't use anything on my 250 watt. With two t5s. It's just normal to light up the whole room it's in, hope this helps. . .

i have leds now and my setup is in wall. before when i had a tank in the house with MH and T5 i put a piece of light weight sheet of wood (like a plywood paper thin) across the front so there was no light spillage.

Acrylic sheet, painted black on the inside with Krylon Fusion. My fixture is only 1 1/2 inches but I used 6 inches of acrylic on it. I need to add more paint to mine as once it was fired up I can see my LEDs still.
