Hey RC,
I just picked up a used 90g AGA and it needs a bit of cleaning. What is the best method to use?
Anything good at removing the crusted algae?

Distilled white vinegar, dilute it a bit with water & let the tank soak a while.

This, the vinegar softens the coraline so it easily scrapes off.

I assume it's glass, I used a razor to scrape junk off after rubbing with vinegar. It works wonders.

Cleaned four used tanks this way, followed by a wipe down with a higher vinegar solution.
