I keep it at 80 degrees f. Should I shift this for better sps growth? Everything doing very well as is. But want to create an environment for maximum growth.

I ran my sps dominated tank at 82-84 for three years due to pumps putting heat in the water. Everything grew well. I'll likely run the new tank at 78 and see what happens. If I see some weird things, I'll bump it up to 80.

I'm currently at 80 been running tank like this for 6 month. The reason I'm asking is about 6 months ago I started with a halide lighting and sps. They loving the intense lighting and just want to be sure the temp is ideal for sps

I keep the same type of reef, sps dominant with some lps and softies. I kept mine at 80 for a year and half and just recently bumped it up to 82. I raised it two degrees over five days. Everything seems to like it just the same as they liked it at 80.

Sounds good, I'll just keep it at 80
