Hey everyone,

I am building my own sump and encountered an issue with the pre-drilled holes for the magflow on my 180.

As I am very new to this and this is my first real plumbing project, I went and purchased all of the pvc and started laying out my plumbing using primarily 1" tubing.

The issue I am running into is I purchased four 1" couplings for the pre-drilled holes ... haha was I ever way off on this one :headwally:

These obviously wont work as they don't fit the predrilled holes (I was assuming it would be a tight fit and need minimal silicone around it and would be golden... again I know nothing about plumbing) ... I went back to the hardware store to buy actual bulkheads after doing some reading but I can't find them anywhere!

Where can I get the bulkheads I need to plumb these holes appropriately?

Please help :hmm4:

What sixed holes are drilled in the tank and how many?

Thanks!

There are four pre-drilled holes, measuring at 1 3/4" each.

Ideally I would like to run 1" pvc universally with the bottom of the bulkhead being a slip, and the top of the bulkhead being threaded. It seems that I may need to get a 3/4" to 1" converter for the threaded end of the bulkhead as well if I want to use 1".

Alternatively a dual slip would work for me as well I feel, though from what I have read the above is more ideal due to the threading and being able to remove the pvc as you wish? (What benefit does this functionality offer?)
