looks like a devils hand, or some other type of leather branching type. pics are kinda hard to tell.

My guess would be a sinularia of some sort.

I just can't seem to find any pictures of leathers without the "polyps" or bumps on them. Mine seems to be smooth

It's probably still adjusting to your tank. They'll do this from time to time. (shut down/shed) As long as the lighting is sufficient and your parameters are within reason, it should be in full glory in no time. GL.
