Just finished my diy led build and have had it running for about a week now. I really like the look and all but one sps seem to be adapting well.
Rather than post a bunch of pics here I thought I would throw together a web page (http://members.accesstoledo.com/eyesolator/led/index.html) there is also a link to the Apex mods I have done.
Critiques, questions, comments welcome.

Thanks,
John

I like the idea of central housing between sinks. Makes for a nice clean look. Do you have some good pictures of the housing showing the way it fits?

Thanks!
Going to take the fixture down later today to tomorrow for a little work, I'll make sure I get some good pics of the connection.

Here is the bar that joins the two sinks together.http://members.accesstoledo.com/eyesolator/stuff/bar.jpg
Close up of the bar and the 4-40 tapped holes for attaching the center section.

Center section fit at the bottom, I left a gap for air to flow since I wasn't sure how hot the fixture would get.

Screw placement to hold center section.

Hope this helps.

OK. So it looks like the center section covers the front/rear/bottom of the fixture. The top is left uncovered? Or is there a separate cover for that? I'm wondering if I could have big enough center housing to accommodate 4 drivers as well and just have one or two 110v cords coming out of the back of the fixture. Leaving the top uncovered could probably cause excessive dust to collect and wouldn't look so good. Unless there is a heat exchange concern, I would enclose the entire section from all sides.

To fit four Mean Well ELNs the center section would have to be at least 9"wide. Two will fit side by side and then two stacked on top, but it would be a snug fit for sure.

I did make a cover for the top but I am not using it. I figure I'll be taking the fixture down from time to tome to blow out the fins and the fans and I'll blow out the center section then too. A nice thing about the 25 Pin plug and the hanging brackets is I can have the fixture down in about 30 seconds.
