I have almost always had at least 1 (now have 5) rock anemones in my tanks for over 20 years...NEVER any problem eating fish (I think that you're talking about carpet anemones)...easy to care for, usually stay in one place

I get mine online from 'Reeftopia' in the Florida Keys, ~$10-20

I wish my picture taking skills were better, the red one is a combination of red, orange and purple. It is stunning. I picked them up at a LFS. Whats great about these is, I put them where I wanted them and they set their foot within an hour and haven't moved since and they wont wonder around the tank. I would like to get one more, they can be in groups, so you can have a rock flower garden.

How often do you feed yours?

How often do you feed yours?

Once or twice a month, my oldest is at least 7 yrs old...I have 2 (of my 5) that move around on the large rock that they're on... Sometimes move to back/shaded side, next day back to their original spot!
