Just got the live rocks this morning and they are in my new 29G tank, well I am also new so this is my first reef tank. Thought I'd share, and I'd appreciate any IDs :spin1:

It reminds me of last spring when I started my first tank, you will find something different nearly every time you look over the rocks with a magnifying glass. Take pictures and ask on here for Id's-close up pics are best-Happy Reefing.

That is great looking live rock! Where did you get it? Will be needing some soon myself.

Congrats!!

I see many sponges, Halamadia algae and some large bi-valves.

You are going to have a lot of die off and probably a significant ammonia spike.

Go to chucksaddiction live rock hitch hikers for IDs.

Get a magnifying glass as well if you do not have one already.

Great live rock! Is the water sloshing to one side?

Just wait until you're done cycling and adding livestock - it only gets more exciting!

Got the live rocks from Live rocks n reef. Not sure if I can post their URL, but google that name and you will find them :-)
