I Have a 29g biocube DIY Led's small tunze skimmer and small chaeto refugium.
I only started with 1 or 2 Acropora frag's and soon found my self now with 5 different acro colonies one giant birds nest, one clam and a horn coral and some sort of encrusting monti ( i think).
Fresh mix of H2Ocean reef salt
Magnesium: 850 @.@ (elos test kits)
KH 8.5
Calcium: 420
Ph: 8.4-8.8 (api test kit) Blah might be 8.2 the colours look the same to me..
My tanks Calcium is a bit lower and the Mg is 700ish, and calcium is down to 250-300. (its water change day, seems the tank Is more hungry then i thought for Ca)
I have a Esv Calcium Hydroxide(kalkwasser powder) that i have not used in my Ato yet, because if I understand correctly I need to buffer my Mg to 1300 1st? What product is the easiest to dose/use, to get my Mg up. When should I add the Kalk to my ATO reservoir? (7.5L tub with tunze osmolator).
Everything in the tank is looking great, but I just started testing weekly, and it seems my 2.5g weekly water change just isnt cutting it anymore. Hopefully I can get this sorted before It really gets out of hand.
