Is it hungry?

I'm interested in this as well. Some of mine nems do this too. I feed every three days though so I don't think it's hunger.

My guess would be not enough flow. Mine would look the same way until I moved him in a higher flowing spot and closer to the light. Seems to like the spot better since it's hosting an anemone crab and a female clown.

I think it's just happy to see you!! :lmao: Mine do that once in a while but I haven't notice a certain thing that creates this reaction. Nems inflate and deflate a little all day. Could even be adjusting itself and that's the position it's body is in. Is it like that all day or is it just a once in a while thing?

Great looking nem BTW!

Thanks for the input. It's usually like this from the middle to the end of the photoperiod. I have it in PAR levels of about 250. Think too much light? too little light? If it wasn't happy with the lighting, it would move correct? It's been in the same spot for about 3 months now.

The nem is about 10" away from my MP10 which is at about 60%. Think I should turn it up?

not sure how much a mp10 puts out. I have mine about 4" away from Hydor 1050 that kicks on for 1 min then off for 1 min.

It looks happy to me... I wouldn't change anything.
