ok so lets start off with saying i have a single maroon clownfish in my 20 tall right now. i used to have 2 but one died off from brook. they were the same size and never really fighted. the one that was a tiny bit larger made it and the smaller one did not. but they were not agressage to one another at all. the larger one often helped the smaller one find food and keep it eating while in qt for treatment. (i would also like to note that seachem paraguard dipping cleared up the brook excellently). but anyways should i get another maroon to throw in there and see if they become a pair? its a small tank for them. i can throw them in a larger tank (120 gal) but it already has a tang, 2 ocellaris clowns, a lawnmower and a damsel in there. so i do not know what to do here people! please help. buy another one for the existing small one? or just keep him in the 20 reef he is in.
