There doesn't seem to be a lot of info on treating scaleless fish like puffers that come down with velvet or brooklynella. Everything I have read deals with using formalin, quick cure, or copper. My issue is by the time a fish keeper realizes there is a problem, the fish only has a matter of days to live. Since it is easy to misdiagnose these diseases for ich, precious hours are lost trying to diagnose. What treatments actually are safe for fish like puffers?
