Hello thank you for your time for looking at this thread or any advice you give. I have a 60g DB Cube I am almost done getting parts for, two main issues for me right now are lights and powerheads.

As I said 60g cube 24x24x24...

#1 - 2 x MP10's or just 1 x MP40? I have heard that 10s wont be enough but then I hear you literally have to turn the 40 all the way down. I will have a pretty good amount of live rock, SPS Hard corals, and a bunch of softies. Try to find that good amount of flow/power.

#2 I know the XR30w has a good footprint however is one fixture enough to cover every inch of my cube?

Sorry if some of the info is wrong on my end still learning but trying to make the right call here, any info would be great. Thank you.

I think 2 mp10's will be plenty of flow/power, you can position them in multiple locations in the tank ie one lower one higher, run them in anti sync mode and get a very nice random flow pattern. And the one radion will be plenty of light for those dimensions. I recently switched from an ai sol blue to the gen 2 radion on my 30x20x16 and love it. Plenty of coverage at 12" awl

I've got a 75g cube 30x24x24 with two mp10's and there is definitely enough flow I run them both facing each other in anti synch at about 80%. Also have 1 radion gen 2 over the tank and it seems to cover everything I don't notice any shadowing and I keep the lower light corals at the edge of the tank because these lights are powerfull.

2 mp10s, the mp10s are smaller and wont be as big of a eye sore than one mp40, plus the mp10 doesn't have any maintainance kits you have to buy for them every 8-12 months. Also having 2 setup in a sync or antisync master/slave relationship would create real nice flow in your cube. One Radion light will most definitely be sufficient. If the light is too much or not enough, you could always raise or lower you light height and intensity to meet. Your needs

Yeah, 2 of the mp10's and a single Radion will work great.

Cubed,

For your aquarium 1 Radion XR30W and 2 MP10wES units will work very nicely.
