Which biocube do you have? I put the CPR SR3 skimmer in the middle chamber of my 29

I dont have a biocube i was just using the skimmer from it but it doesnt do anything at all. time to upgrade

I use an aqua c remora HOB with a maxijet 1200 in a 26 gal bow and it works great.

I will say that mine is very loud. and i've done some modification to quiet it
but i live in apartment with no carpeting
