Hello my name is Jes and I'm just starting out. I have a small 3Gallon Cubey. Dont know much about it except the filter is built in? I used to be into tanks, but freshwater. Saltwater has always been something thats interested me. Hoping to upgrade to a bigger tank once I learn enough knowledge about sustaining a saltwater tank. Lol. Here are a few pics to show you my set up. I'm open to what you all have to say and open to learning. If I'm doing something wrong and shouldnt be doing something please let me know! Thanks hoping to learn a lot here on RC.

Read the sticky on Dirt Simple Chemistry and the one on How to set up---Above

I'm really worried about the oxygenation for that clown in the 3 gallon. THose are usually for shrimp and some softie corals.

Your button polyps, however, are doing great.

+1 with Sk8r defintaly to small for a clown even as small as he is right now. Should hold of on any fish till you get a bigger tank 10 gallons is the minium for fish IMO. and with that i would only put one clown in a 10 gallon. but you can stuff that 3 gallon full of softies and LPS and will look awesome!

+1 on removing the clownfish, they need at least a ten gallon tank, a thirty gallon to thrive.

Ive always found small tanks to be a little harder to main....Cheaper yes but harder.

I like the shrimp tank idea but if you must have a fish maybe a yashi goby & pistol shrimp pair.
