Test 3 watt LEDs

I dropped my fixture while working on it and now my leds will not light up. How can I test each leds individually?

2 AA batteries, connected in series, attached to each individual LED. Make sure to remove each LED from the string before testing. If LED lights up, it works fine.

I have been using two AA (1,5v) batteries in series.

Something like this might also work:

But you can simply just use some wire and a bit of duct tape.
