Im trying to determine the appropriate dose of the commercial carbon source im using and have been increasing it slowly for the past few weeks.I can see the brown color on the acroporas fading away but im not sure how much I can increase it to.Do you think it would be safe to keep on raising the dose as long as there is still a brown coloration?Im not very sure on what else on the appearence of the tank would be a good indicator. What are you usually looking for when you are tuning your systems?

Flakes,

Adjust the carbon to which the phosphate is between 0.00 and 0.02
Use test Hanna
