I've got the Nanocube 28 LED pro and I'd like to add more royal blue LEDs. Anyone done this?
At first I was thinking about just replacing some the factory whites with blues, but after talking with Rapid LEDs, I'm thinking about going with one of their actinic supplement kits with 6 LEDs.
Only problem I see is what looks like a reflector that the factory LEDs are under. Looks like the reflector sits over the LEDs with holes just for the diode to poke through. Anyone take this off and would I lose much light without it?
The supplement kit lights would be glued to the factory heatsink.

Thank for any help!

I just added two exocotic stunner strips to my nc 28. It really makes a difference. I placed them right next to the white LEDs. Had to break a small piece of plastic on each side to get them to fit. But now they are protected by the glass shield

Any way you can post a pic of how you have them in there?
