Does 2-Part go bad

I have 2 bottles of C-Balance from two little fishy that are several years old. I was wondering if they are still good. One is unopened and the other is open but very little used.

It should last forever. The only thing is that it might fall out of solution a little. You might need to shake it up good to redissolve. But chemically it should be fine.

Thank you disc1. I hated to throw out two good gallons of ALK and Calcium.

yeah, should be fine. I'd give the alk the sniff test to make sure nothing funky is growing in it (it is a carbon source afterall), but that likelihood is really low. I know I've kept solutions like calcium chloride sitting out on a lab bench for the better part of 4 years (covered of course) and it was still fine.

The stuff looked fine and ironically I did smell it. I don't know what I was smelling for but it just seem like the thing to do. The ALK didn't even need mixing which seemed strange since I haven't use it in years. I hooked it up to my dosing pumps so lets hope for the best.
