Hi

I got a stunner strip for my nano and ordered the blue+magenta.

Does anyone know if there is any benefit using the magenta color? I am basically using this to supplement my stock moonlights.

Also does the ultraviolet color have any benefit for the corals?

I think it will just bring out the color in some corals.

I have a couple of the blue stunners and they are amazing.

I have never seen an LED that gives off the beautiful blue color that the stunners do.

I have been wondering what the blue/magenta looks like as I am thinking about getting one.

The most important color of light to most all corals is anything in blue. The zoanthealia (algae) that lives inside the coral polyps use the blue light for photosynthesis. And yes, lots of corals look great with blue lights.
