I know I've seen people express interest in these fish. At better than 2 grand, I doubt there will ever be one in my tank, but I did happen to see 5, yes, five Gem Tangs at Aquarium Village on Sunday.

I saw them, too! They are gorgeous. My husband didn't know what they were (or the price tag!) and he noticed them immediately! We picked up a really pretty Leopard Wrasse while we were there.

Sometimes, it's good to be the consumer ;)

I really wonder how much profit did the store owner make out of each one of the Gem Tang.:spin3:

They were all eating and looking good on Sunday. Chances are that they sold as opposed to dying in store.

They were $2000 from a wholesaler out of California a few weeks ago.
