Please help me ID this

They look like some kind of feather duster. They came on a piece of coral I purchased and they have been growing. I want to move the rock to my new display tank but want to know if these are bad, good or if I like them keep them and don't worry about it. It's the brown fuzzy things I need ID'd. Thank you.

They look like hydroids to me, but it's difficult to see an individual head in your pic. Search for hydroids and look at some of the pictures and see if that's what you have.
