Snap on fingers for glass baffle

Trying to set up a refugium in my sump. Sump has glass baffles that divide the chambers. Would like to have some "plastic fingers" on top of the glass baffles that divide the chambers. Rationale: want to prevent things from flowing over the top of the baffles.

Is this necessary?

Does anyone make snap on filter fingers you could put on top of a baffle like this?

Some prefab synod have filter mesh crammed between the baffles

You could cut your own teeth in a piece of acrylic and silicone it onto the top of your baffle.

Preventing things like that is why the last baffle is gapped at the bottom, not the top. That's pretty efficient at it.
