Is this bullying?? my blue tang and yellow tang once in awhile corner my emper angel and swim in front of him blocking him off and kinda like leaning into him sideways. Shuld i be worriedd??

It's definitely aggression, but it may be the establishment of a pecking order...is the angel new?

Definitely aggression, is there any fights or signs of damage? Long as the emperor is still eating and seems healthy, he'll eventually end up being the boss. Just make sure there's no damage being done. IMO though, emperors need to be the alpha fish to really thrive.

No damage as of now but i do see the tang constantly doing this but then times my emperor swims up and appears to bite the tang in the side. I say appears bc theres no marks on the tang either.

Juvi Emperor's will clean other fish. Could this be the behavior that you are seeing?

do you see the emp "mouthing" or picking at their their bodies or are the hippo and the yellow mouthing the emp or body slamming her?

The emp bites the blue hippo but the hippo and yellow tang dont bite the emper they jus swim right in front of him and gently swat him with their tail

It is possible they are looking to get a cleaning...sounds like they are searching out the emp at his "cleaning station" and then he is picking at their bodies and cleaning them...

You did say the hippo and yt are using their tails...
do they kinda back into the emp and shake their tails?

They back into him and lean sideways and wiggle their tails back and fourth against him and he then bites their side

that is aggression and not cleaning...they are just trying to arrange the pecking order and the hippo and the yellow both know the emp, although currently small, is the king of the tank, lol....
